Practical questions about working with eventulu
How reviews, audits and training sessions run, what we need from you beforehand, and how scope, payment and cancellation are handled.
Frequently asked questions
These are the questions studio managers and engineers ask most often before an enquiry. If yours is not covered, write to us through the contact page.
What kinds of studios and productions do you work with?
We work with television studios, live event productions and outside broadcast teams, from small regional facilities to larger multi-camera operations. Our services cover studio layout, camera configuration, stage lighting, audio synchronisation and control room workflow. If your project sits close to these areas but not squarely in them, describe it and we will say honestly whether we can help.
Do you visit us on site or work remotely?
Most work happens on site, because signal paths, lighting and gallery routines are best judged in the room where they are used. Some preparation, such as reading drawings or equipment lists, is done remotely beforehand. We agree the split with you when the quotation is written, so you know what to expect.
What should we prepare before a review or audit?
Useful items include equipment lists, signal flow diagrams if they exist, recent fault reports and a description of what is going wrong. Access to the people who run the room day to day helps most. If documents are missing, we can build a picture during the visit.
How is the scope of a job agreed?
After your enquiry we ask a few questions, then send a written quotation describing the service, what it includes and the price. Nothing begins until you have confirmed it in writing. If the scope changes during the work, we tell you before extra time is added.
Will we receive something in writing at the end?
Yes. Reviews, audits and configuration work finish with a written report that records what we found, what we changed and what we recommend next. For training sessions we leave notes and exercise sheets for the crew. Reports are written to be read by engineers, not only by managers.
Can you train our crew as well as review the system?
Yes, our team training sessions are on-site workshops on live production routines, signal flow and fault finding. They can follow an audit, so the examples come from your own setup, or run on their own. Group size and length are agreed beforehand.
How does payment work?
You send an enquiry through the contact page, we reply with a written quotation or confirmation, and once you accept, we issue an invoice. Payment is by bank transfer. There is no online checkout or card payment on this site.
What happens if we need to cancel or change a booking?
Cancellations and refunds follow our payment and refund policy, which sets out notice periods and what applies at each stage. Please tell us as early as you can if dates move. We will always try to rearrange a visit sensibly before treating it as a cancellation.
